There have been two separate crashes on the M50 this morning.

One incident took place before 8am on the M50 northbound between Junction 9, Red Cow, and Junction 7, Lucan, this is currently blocking the right and middle lanes and emergency services are on scene.

Another crash took place just before 8am on the M50 northbound between Junction 6, Blanchardstown, and Junction 5, Finglas.

Irish Rail have also warned commuters that some Dart/Commuter services are expected to operate with knock on delays.

The Dart is currently experiencing delays of 10+ minutes, the Northern Commuter route is experiencing delays of up to 12 minutes and the Maynooth Commuter route delays of up to 14 minutes.

Irish Rail say the delays are due to “an issue with engineering works overnight” which delayed the start of services this morning.
