This month, the professional services firm PwC Ireland and SustainabilityWorks, a sustainability and ESG (environmental, social and governance) consultancy, published their 2024 Climate Tech Report. The report recognises Ireland’s vibrant climate tech ecosystem, which includes more than 300 innovative companies. Climate tech in Ireland has experienced steady but slow growth over the past decade.
The research calls for a dedicated climate tech hub in Ireland to unite entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, government, and businesses. It also advocates for greater collaboration by state bodies to provide targeted investment incentives for climate tech companies.
