Some 13.4kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of more than €268,000 over the course of several operations last week.

The seized drugs include 16.2g amphetamines, 26.2g butane honey oil, 26ml cannabis oil, 189g cannabis resin, 395g of cannabis edibles, 200g magic mushrooms, 120 ecstasy tablets, and 984 alprazolam, benzodiazepine, diazepam, Zolpidem and Zopiclone tablets.
The illicit drugs were discovered, as a result of risk profiling in parcels originating from the USA, Canada, the UK, France, Thailand, India and Australia, and were intended for addresses nationwide.

A quantity of retail goods, with an estimated value of approximately €121,250, was also seized due to infringements of Intellectual Property Rights.
Some 647 items were recovered, including products from Adidas, Chanel, Chloe, New Balance, Nike, The North Face, Under Armour, Lacoste, Castore, ON, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Moncler, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Golden Goose, Yves Saint Laurent, Converse, Ugg, Longchamp, Hermes, Birkenstock, Palm Angels, Burberry, Dior and Valentino.
Investigations into all seizures are ongoing.
