Paris Olympics Day Six: Irish in action – What time, what channel and all you need to know

The first members of Team Ireland to compete on day six will be the rowers once again with Zoe Hyde and Alison Bergin off in the Women’s Double Sculls B final at 9.30am, Emily Hegarty, Natalie Long, Eimear Lambe and Imogen Magner going in the Women’s Coxless Four B final at 9.54am and Philip Doyle and Daire Lynch contest the Men’s Double Sculls A final at 10.30am with hopes of a medal.

Rory McIlroy begins the golf tournament at 10.10am alongside Scottie Scheffler & Ludvig Aberg. Shane Lowry follows at 11.44am and is out with Byeong Hun An & Nick Taylor.

In Equestrian Shane Sweetnam, Daniel Coyle, Cian O’Connor make up Ireland’s Show Jumping team with competition starting from 10am.

While all that is going on Tom Fannon and Shane Ryan take part in the Men’s 50m Freestyle heats in the pool at 10.32am and 10.37am respectively.

Also on the water from 11.15am is Finn Lynch who competes in race one of the Men’s Dinghy Series with Eve McMahon following in the Women’s event at 2.35pm. Finn’s second race goes off at 1.20pm with Eve back out at 4.43pm.

The Men’s Hockey team face Argentina looking for a first win in Pool B at 12.15pm while Robert Dickson and Sean Waddilove go into the Men’s Skiff medal race from the silver medal position at 1.43pm.

Noel Hendrick goes in the Men’s Canoe Slalom K1 semi-finals from 2.30pm and will be hoping to book a spot in the final later in the afternoon.

Finally, Ireland have two boxers in the ring with Daina Moorehouse taking on France’s Wassila Lkhadiri in the Women’s 50Kg Round of 16 at 7pm and Jack Marley looking to secure a medal in his Men’s 92kg quarter-final against Daviat Boltaev of Tajikistan at 9.08pm.
