​So Armagh are All-Ireland champions and what have we learned? This is the only remaining question, the final I to dot and T to cross, from the inter-county season that was 2024.

Not whether they deserved it – they did. Or if they had the best players in the competition – they didn’t. But how did they bend the 2024 championship to their will? How did they outlast the pack? Armagh were 28/1 at the start of the year. Nobody tipped them. That’s not because we’re all stupid or we secretly have it in for Armagh.
