Plans to build four outdoor padel tennis courts have been unveiled.

Located at Cobh Cross, Co Cork, the plan from Padel Tennis Ireland Limited would see four additional courts added to its existing facility.

Floodlighting, tempered glass and a concrete boundary wall are also proposed.

Elsewhere, a developer is seeking to scale up the size of a proposed office development in Cork.

City Gate Plaza Developments Limited has lodged an application with Cork City Council relating to its plans for the former Ma/Comm site in Mahon, Cork.

Currently, it has permission to build two office blocks, one four-storeys and one three-storeys.

Now, it has applied to change that four-storey office block for two four-storey blocks instead for a total of three blocks on the site.

Meanwhile, CGI Food Ltd has lodged an application with Cork County Council to extend its business centre in Midleton.

The developer is looking to add six warehouse / light industrial units with ancillary internal offices on the southern elevation of its location at Knockgriffin, Midleton.

Two of the units will be 178.3sq m, and four will be 93sq m, if approved.
