Well done to proud Carrickedmond man James Donovan who won the All-Ireland Junior Championship with his adopted New York on Sunday in Croke Park.

James was a fantastic underage player for Colehill NS and Carrick Sarsfields, excelling in many positions while claiming numerous honours.

James’ last time to play in Croke Park was as a member of the Carrick Sarsfields U8s in 2008.

James still remains friends with many of the Carrickedmond senior players now and still follows all things Carrick.

Well done again James and all in Carrickedmond hope to see you in Moran Park soon.
