A Richie Lawlor goal in the 34th minute killed Oylegate-Glenbrien’s growing momentum and paved the way for Faythe Harriers to record an impressive first victory in Group B of the Pettitt’s Senior hurling championship in O’Kennedy Park, New Ross on Saturday.

While the town team led by 0-10 to 0-7 at half-time, their rivals had equalised and then secured an opportunity to edge ahead for the first time when Séamus Casey stood over a free.
