After a weekend of fixtures furore over when to play the All-Ireland hurling quarter-finals and Tailteann Cup semi-finals, Croke Park has now confirmed the weekend schedule for both competitions.

As confirmed by Central Council on Sunday evening, the SHC quarters will now proceed on Saturday afternoon as originally flagged.

Dublin and Cork will kick off a Thurles double-header at 1.15pm, followed by the meeting of Clare and Wexford (3.15pm). Both games will be broadcast live on RTÉ.

The national broadcaster will also televise the two Tailteann Cup semi-finals at Croke Park on Sunday afternoon, starting with the meeting of Antrim and Laois (2pm) and concluding with the headline act of Down and Sligo (4pm).
