SANTA is coming to town early this year – and he’s bringing the magic to a Dublin shopping centre.
On November 16, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre will kick off the festive season with the highly anticipated arrival of Santa Claus.
Santa will park his sleigh at Liffey Valley to officially switch on the Christmas lights, marking the start of the centre’s magical holiday celebrations.
From 1pm, shoppers and families can join in the festive cheer, with a free day of activities designed to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
The shopping centre will host live entertainment, face painting, arts and crafts, and plenty of fun for little ones to enjoy.
But the real highlight of the day will come at 4pm when Santa himself will take centre stage to light up Liffey Valley.
Followed by the opening of his Grotto, where he’ll be meeting children and listening to their Christmas wishes.
This is just the start of the magic, as Santa will be available to visit daily until Christmas Eve.
The centre is also proud to be partnering once again with Little Blue Heroes, a foundation that supports families of children with serious illnesses.
To mark the occasion, one special child will be granted the wish of becoming an Honorary Garda for the day.
They will be leading Santa on his journey to his Grotto in a special Garda escort.
Centre Director at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Denis O’Connell said: “Christmas is always such a special time at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
“And we’re thrilled to welcome Santa and his team of dedicated elves back for a magical season.
“We’ve curated a wonderful line-up of entertainment and activities to make this Christmas unforgettable for families and our local community.”
In addition to the Christmas magic, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is home to over 80 stores and 20 dining experiences, making it the ultimate destination for holiday shopping and dining.
Whether you’re picking up last-minute gifts, treating yourself to something special, or grabbing a bite to eat, there’s something for everyone this Christmas.
With the Christmas season fast approaching, it’s the perfect spot to get into the festive spirit.
The Grotto will be open daily from 16th November until 24th December, giving families plenty of time to visit and share in the magic of Christmas with Santa Claus.
The Grotto promises a wonderful opportunity for families to create lasting memories.
And for children to share their festive wishes with the jolly old man himself.
Make sure to mark your calendars because the countdown to Christmas has began.
The grotto will be open daily, with times varying from 9am to 9pm depending on the date.
