One beauty expert reckons the iconic US beauty store, Sephora, could be set to take on the Irish market.

Laura Bermingham, beauty editor for Evoke.ie and all-around master of things in this area, has been eyeing the situation with Sephora in Ireland for some time.

In case you didn’t know (guilty!), Irish shoppers CAN order from Sephora UK.

Laura explains though that, in her opinion, the potential for a more targeted experience for Irish customers appears to be on the cards, having watched how the store branched out into the UK.

As more features open up for the UK, it seems the potential is there.

Doing some digging, Laura spotted a ‘secret’ discount page for UK shoppers only and has speculated that this could be something that makes its way to us.

She writes “It seems Sephora UK is gearing up to take on Irish beauty fans who have been waiting a long time to shop at the famous store.”

Laura explains “Better yet, it has a special page on the site where you can find discount codes that are updated regularly and may soon be available to Irish shoppers.”

With her knowledge in the industry, Laura reveals that the walls that Irish shoppers can’t quite get through yet could be set to change, albeit slowly.

At the moment, a big area of concern for Irish shoppers is the customs fees.

Sephora issues the following information on these charges:

Brexit

There is no change to how you shop since the introduction of Brexit. All our orders to EU countries will be delivered duty paid (DDP) for order below 150€ and there will be no additional customs fees for you to pay for orders fulfilled by Feelunique.
