Judge Patricia McNamara remanded all seven in custody to appear before court next week.
Seven people have appeared in court charged with false imprisonment and assault of a woman who was allegedly held against her will and tortured for over an hour in a Dublin apartment.
The alleged victim remains in hospital on Saturday where she is recovering from injuries including multiple broken bones, burn marks, lacerations and stab wounds.
She had allegedly been badly beaten. scalded, stabbed and had her hair cut off in the prolonged attack.
Gardai seized a number of items from the scene including a deodorant can and light which was alleged to have been used for a makeshift blowtorch, a hammer, scissors, a hatchet, iron poles and wooden sticks.
She was heavily bleeding when gardai raided the apartment as part of a drug search around 7pm on Thursday.
It is alleged the incident was filmed on a mobile phone.
The woman was taken to hospital where she underwent surgery and remained in hospital this weekend.

Six adult men and one juvenile appeared before Dublin District Court on Saturday charged in relation to the incident which allegedly took place at an apartment in Henrietta House on Bolton Street in Dublin on Thursday.
Judge Patricia McNamara remanded all seven in custody to appear before court next week.
Detective Garda Ruairi O’Connor gave evidence of arrest charge and caution of a number of the suspects and objected to bail.
The accused men are Sean Conroy (20) from Silloge Road, Ballymun, Braxton Rice (20), Mark McMahon (54) and Mark Keogh (33) all with addresses at Henrietta House, and Kian Walsh (19) and Jayven Talbot (20) with addresses in Constitution Hill, Dublin 7.
A 16-year-old boy who cannot be identified due to his age was also charged in relation to the alleged incident. He was remanded in custody to appear before the Children’s Court on Monday.
No applications were made in relation to McMahon and Keogh who were remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill Court by videolink next week,
The court heard Keogh was on social welfare and McMahon was on a widowers pension. All seven accused were granted legal aid and the court heard none made any reply to being charged.
Bail applications were made in relation to the other accused but were refused.
