Defending SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division champions Shelbourne will welcome Derry City to Tolka Park on the opening day of the new season as the two sides meet again after last year’s final day title decider.
The full fixture list was published this afternoon, with newly-promoted Cork City hosting their former manager John Caulfield as Galway United visit Turner’s Cross.
St Patrick’s Athletic will welcome FAI Cup winners Drogheda United to Dublin 8 while Sligo Rovers and Waterford clash at The Showgrounds.
Three games will take place on Friday, 14 February, and the game in Sligo is set for the Saturday night.
Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers will meet at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, 16 February with 12,000 tickets already sold.
In the First Division, Ciarán Kilduff will meet his old club in his first fixture in charge of Dundalk when they welcome Athlone Town to Oriel Park to begin life in the second tier.
Kilduff led Athlone’s women’s team to the FAI Cup and a first ever league title in his time there.
In the Women’s Premier Division, reigning champions Athlone will host Wexford in their opening fixture on Saturday 8 March.

The mid-season break in the male Premier Division has been moved earlier in the year to 1-13 June, while the season will end on 1 November.
The FAI Cup final is scheduled for 9 November.
