Mayo will host Derry in their All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final in MacHale Park on Saturday evening at 6.30pm, one of three games in the round scheduled for that day.

Mayo manager Kevin McStay had expressed a preference for a Sunday fixture to give them an extra day to recover from their game with Dublin.

The GAA has confirmed the dates and times with Louth again choosing Grattan Park in Inniskeen for their game with Cork, fixed for Sunday at 3pm to avoid a clash with the Cork hurlers on Saturday.

Galway and Monaghan will meet in Pearse Stadium Salthill at 4pm on Saturday with Tyrone and Roscommon throwing in at 5pm in Omagh. All four games will be broadcast on GAAGO.

The Tailteann Cup semi-finals had already been fixed for Croke Park on Sunday at 2pm (Antrim v Laois) and 4pm (Down v Sligo) and will be broadcast live on RTÉ with the All-Ireland hurling quarter-finals on Saturday afternoon in Semple Stadium, Thurles.

Derry supporters will also have an All-Ireland minor semi-final with Kerry in Mullingar at 1.30pm on Saturday with Armagh and Mayo meeting in the other semi-final in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park Longford on Sunday at 5.30pm.
