They’ve been charged with 62 offences such as burglary and theft.
16 people are due in court later – including a 14 year old.
In recent weeks, gardai have made a number of arrests as part of operations carried out by officers in Coolock and Raheny.
These ops specifically targeted people living across the northside, who are engaging in targeted property crime and profiting from criminal activities.
A total of 16 people (13 men and 3 women) aged from 14 to 55 years old have been charged with 62 offences.
They including, burglary, theft, criminal damage, robbery and unauthorised taking of a vehicle.
All 16 will will appear in court later.
A garda spokesperson said:
“16 people are expected to appear before Dublin District Courts this morning, Friday, 4th October 2024, following a comprehensive policing operation conducted as part of Operation Thor in North Dublin.
“Over recent weeks a number of arrest operations were carried out in the DMR North Division by Gardaí in the Coolock and Raheny districts.
“These operations specifically targeted individuals living in communities in North Dublin, who are engaging in targeted property crime and profiting from criminal activities.
“As part of the current investigative phase of Operation Thor, a total of 16 persons (13 males and 3 females) aged from 14 to 55 years old have been charged with 62 offences, including, burglary, theft, criminal damage, robbery and unauthorised taking of a vehicle.”
