DUBLIN Airport is brightening the skies with a stunning display of pink and blue lights on their buildings.

As the terminals glow in these vibrant hues, many are taking to social media to express their appreciation for this thoughtful gesture.

Dublin Airport shines bright this week in honour of Pregnancy & Baby Loss Awareness Week.

The pink and blue lights are in place to mark Pregnancy and Baby Loss Awareness Week.

The gesture is also in support of the work of A Little Lifetime Foundation, which is one of Dublin Airport Authority’s chosen charity of the year partners.

The charity was founded in 1983 by a group of bereaved parents who’s mission is “to empower families to navigate the grieving process with dignity and resilience.”

The foundation “strive” to create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can find “solace and connection” through their programs, support groups, and online resources.

The foundation spoke on Dublin Airports heartfelt tribute saying: “We are delighted to see Dublin airport lit up for Baby Loss Awareness Week.

“This is a huge honour for A Little Lifetime Foundation.

“As one of the charity partners for 2024 , A Little Lifetime is truly grateful for this meaningful tribute.”

This initiative aims to raise awareness and provide support for families affected by pregnancy and baby loss.

Pregnancy and Baby Loss Awareness Week runs from October 9 to October 15.
