Soyang Europe expands reach in Ireland with opening of Dublin branch

The new facility will cut out the delayed delivery times customers in the country currently face, and bring industry tried and tested materials to customers in Ireland at competitive prices

Wide and superwide-format media manufacturer and distributor Soyang Europe has opened a new branch in the Irish capital of Dublin. The facility is intended to cut out the delayed delivery times that customers in the country currently face.

Once fully stocked, the branch will house a range of products from across the Soyang portfolio including textile, PVC and SAV solutions, mirroring the company’s current UK offering.

Textile stocks will include flag, display polyester, display stretch, black back and backlit solutions. As for PVC stock, the facility will offer mesh up to 5m-wide, mesh with liner up to 3.2m-wide, SoFlat for banner stands, blockout banner and 510gsm semi-coated banner material. On top of this, customers in Ireland can purchase the recently announced SoStick polymeric and monomeric matt, gloss and clear laminate self-adhesive vinyl solutions.

Initial stock will arrive at the site this month, with customers having immediate access to textiles for UV and dye sub printing, PVC banner and mesh and self-adhesive vinyl. In addition, those requiring custom sizes can benefit from an in-house slitting facility.

Newly appointed John Barnes will oversee the Dublin branch as warehouse manager and initially have support from the experienced UK team. In addition, Mark Mashiter, operations director of media; Oliver Mashiter, sales director of media; and Damien Martin, business development manager, will be responsible for visiting customers across Ireland to discuss their requirements.

‘We’re delighted to be opening our new branch in Dublin,’ said Mark Mashiter. ‘We already work with a number of companies in Ireland and opening the facility seemed like the next logical step in offering our customers a more efficient service.’

He added, ‘New and existing customers in Ireland will benefit from faster delivery of our leading products and will have easy access to an extensive range of solutions from across the Soyang portfolio.’
