A 53-year-old Dublin man charged over the seizure of drugs worth nearly €2 million last Friday was caught “red handed” and is believed to be one of the main suppliers of tablets to the city centre, a court has heard.

David O’Toole, with an address at Allendale Square in Clonsilla in west Dublin, appeared at Tallaght District Court where he was faced with four charges of drug possession and four charges of possession of drugs with intent to supply under Sections 3 and 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
