As polarising a figure as Ireland has ever seen, Roy Keane has had somewhat of a rebrand in recent years. The hot head from Cork has traded much of his abrasive side for a more mild-mannered and TV-friendly demeanour.

Many fans have called for him to become the next Republic of Ireland manager. However, Keane’s previous times in an Ireland jersey, and in the dug-out, were marred with accusations of bullying, player mismanagement as well as some well-known controversies throughout his club career.

On today’s episode of The Indo Daily, Fionnán Sheehan is joined by Daniel McDonnell, football correspondent with the Irish Independent, and Dave Hanratty, also of the Irish Independent, to discuss whether feuding has ruled Roy Keane out of the question for the top Irish football job?
