Nude colours, see-through fabric and barely-there dresses dominated the biggest night in fashion, with an Irish designer and talent collaboration stealing the show.
Everyone has had that dream where they turned up at an event only to realise they were naked. But if Monday’s Met Gala was anything to go by, looking nude is no longer a nightmare, it’s a full blown trend.
The annual gathering of the rich and famous at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art is themed, and this year it was all about the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” while the the official dress code was “The Garden of Time.”
