A Community of Hope: Artists for Dublin Simon, a charity art auction showcasing works from nearly 100 of Ireland’s most celebrated artists, will be taking place from 28 November to 3 December. Hosted at Gormley’s Fine Art, this event offers a unique opportunity to acquire stunning artworks while supporting Dublin Simon Community’s essential services. Online bidding will be open from the 28 November – 10 December.

Roe & Co Distillery: Christmas Reimagined

From Thursday, 28 November, Roe & Co Distillery will open its doors for a limited-run ‘Christmas Reimagined’ dining and drinks pairing experience. Partnering with celebrated chef Caomhan di Bri, the Dublin 8 whiskey-makers will offer guests the exclusive opportunity to savour his skills and creativity with an elevated four-course food and whiskey* pairing menu. The event runs every Thursday evening from November 28 until Christmas. Tickets cost €85 per person.

Christmas at the Castle

The Office of Public Works (OPW), in partnership with Dublin City Council, has announced the return of Christmas at the Castle. Running from 28 November – 18 December, this festive celebration will transform Dublin Castle’s historic grounds into a winter wonderland with an open-air Christmas Market. Running daily from midday until 9pm, this is a free and ticketless event.

Áise Agus Éire – Ireland’s first Asian-Irish music collective – proudly presents the most exciting up-and-coming Asian talent in Ireland. Taking place on The Workman’s Cellar on Thursday, 28 November, the night runs from 8pm – 11pm. Tickets cost €10 plus booking fee.

Brazil Showcase

Brazilian food and drink vendors, beauty and fashion creators, tech innovators, traditional music and dance performers will be among the 50+ exhibitors participating in the 2024 Brazil Showcase in Dublin’s EPIC Museum, CHQ on Saturday, 30 November, from 10am – 6pm. There are family-friendly activities, music, food tastings, traditional gifts, interactive demonstrations, product samplings, food tasting. Tickets cost €5.

Sea Swimming for Palestine

Balbriggan Beach is hosting a swimming fundraising fun-family event on Sunday, 1 December, at 11am. All donations to help encourage swimmers to enter the sea will go to Gaza Go Bragh who work to get supplies and water to the people of Gaza.

Christmas Block Market

Dublin’s Charlemonst Square is hoting a community market on Saturday, 30 November, and Sunday, 1 December, from 11am – 5pm. Expect local design, vintage clothing, arts and crafts, hot food and drinks and more.

Christmas Spectacular

Head to Smithfield Square for a spin on the big wheel followed by a visit to Ireland’s first ever Ice Museum to see expertly crafted ice sculptures. Take a spin across the extra-large ice rink and check out the artisan food and drinks in the Christmas market. In consultation with AsIAm, Ireland’s Autism Charity, relaxed timeslots have also been scheduled for both the Ice Rink & the Ice Museum.
