Does it really matter what his motives are? And even if it does matter, how would anyone know for sure what those motives are?

All the mind-readers who think they know Mickey Harte are bluffing; most of us can’t read our own minds, let alone that of one of the most complex public figures in Irish life. But, undeterred, they think they know why Harte has decided to take over the Offaly men’s football team: it’s another gig on the merry-go-round for a man who likes his mileage.
