For commuters in Dublin there may be delays following a crash on the M7.

The crash was reported on the M7 eastbound, at Junction 5, Athgoe, and Junction 4, Rathcoole.

The crash took place at roughly 7.20am and is currently affecting the middle and right hand lane.

Irish Rail have also warned commuters that there are 5-10 minute delays on some Dart services due to low rail adhension.

The northern commuter is currently running six minutes behind schedule, Phoenix Park Tunnel is ten minutes behind schedule and most Dart’s are delayed by at least 7 minutes.

Other routes approaching Dublin experiencing delays includes the M1 southbound, the M2 southbound, the M3 southbound and the M4 eastbound.

There are delays and slow traffic on the M50 between Junction 5 and Junction 7 southbound.
