For drivers in Dublin there may be delays following a four vehicle crash on the M7.

The crash was reported on the M7 at Junction 1a, Newlands Cross Flyover, in the westbound direction.

The crash was blocking the right and middle lanes, emergency services were on the scene including Dublin Fire Brigade who have since cleared the scene.

A spokesperson for Dublin Fire Brigade posted pictures of the cleared scene on the M7 Naas Road Outbound.

“We’ve just finished on scene at a four vehicle road traffic collision on the #M7 Naas Road outbound,” they said.

“The collision on the Newlands Cross flyover has been cleared. Thanks for your patience.”

Other routes approaching Dublin experiencing delays include the M1 southbound, the M3 eastbound and the M7 eastbound.

There are also delays on the M50 between Junction 3 and Junction 9 southbound.
