Traffic and travel: Motorists face delays on M50 as some Irish Rail services running late

There may be delays building up to Dublin’s M50 this morning following a crash.

The incident took place on the M4 eastbound after Junction 3, Lucan and the right lane is currently impacted.

There has also been a breakdown on the M50 southbound at Junction 12, Firhouse.

Irish Rail also warned commuters that a number of their services are experiencing delays including the 6.49am serving Hazelhatch to Grand Canal Dock that departed 12 minutes late, due to a mechanical issue.

There are also delays for the 6.50am train serving Connolly to Belfast, which has departed roughly 15 minutes late.
