Traffic lights out of action in Dublin, with crash and breakdowns on M50 causing delays

There are some travel problems for motorists as some traffic lights are out of action in Dublin this morning.

Lights are out on Rory O’More bridge on both north and south sides of the bridge.

Traffic signals are also out at James Joyce bridge, Blackhall Place and the Ellis Quay side which is due to a power issue. Motorists are being asked to take extra care on approach.

There has also been a crash reported at roughly 8.13am this morning on the M50 northbound at Junction 15 – Carrickmines with the central median affected.

At Dolphins Barn, a public lighting pole is also currently blocking the inbound lane at Tesco Express just before SCR junction, motorists are being asked to take care on approach.

There are two breakdowns in Dublin this morning, one on the M50 northbound at Junction 5 – Finglas slip to N2 outbound and one on the M50 southbound at the M1 interchange.
