Tamia Clark, a sophomore member of the Upper Dublin girls’ basketball team, was recently featured by City of Basketball Love in an article titled “Tamia Clark continuing to improve as young Upper Dublin impresses“.

The article describes the exceptional play of the 5’8″ guard and second-year starter, and notes that her father, Norman Clark, who played for Cheltenham High School, got her interested in the sport.

“I started getting bored of running around, just doing the same thing,” she said. “I just picked basketball because everything is different — you can always make a new play, you can get a steal, there’s always something you can do.”

Upper Dublin is now 4-1 and comes off a 2023-24 season which ended in the opening round of the PIAA Class 6A tournament. Their schedule can be found here.

Clark’s highlights can be found here.
