USA GOLF announced the three women that will represent the United States at the Olympic Games Paris 2024, set for August 7-10 at Le Golf National.
The team is highlighted by World No. 1 Nelly Korda, who won the gold medal at the women’s golf competition at the 2020 Olympics Games in Tokyo. In addition to Korda, the women’s trio includes No. 2 Lilia Vu and No. 9 Rose Zhang, who will both make their Olympic Games debuts.
Golf will return to the Olympic Games for just the third time since 1904 after its return in 2016, with fields of 60 players for both men and women in a 72-hole stroke-play format at Le Golf National.
The three athletes qualified for Team USA based on their standing on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings at the close of the Olympic qualification period following the completion of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
“With the addition of Korda, Vu and Zhang to the team, USA GOLF has an extremely talented group of men and women representing the United States this summer,” said USA GOLF Executive Director Andy Levinson. “These three women enter Olympic golf competition with a combined eight victories on the LPGA Tour this season and are poised to reach the podium in Paris.”
Nelly Korda – Bradenton, Florida

- Three-time U.S. Solheim Cup Team member (2019, 2021, 2023) and 2023 U.S. Team member at the Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown
- Was a member of the 2015 U.S. Junior Solheim Cup Team as an amateur
Lilia Vu – Fountain Valley, California

Rose Zhang – Irvine, California

I am so excited to join my teammates at Le Golf National in a few weeks and represent Team USA in front of the world.”

- Won the 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur, 2021 U.S. Girls’ Junior and 2020 U.S. Women’s Amateur
- Played collegiate golf at Stanford University and ranked No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 141 weeks, the most of any player in history
- Three-time winner of the Mark H. McCormack Medal (2020, 2021, 2022) and two-time ANNIKA Award winner (2022, 2023)
- Won the Mixed Team Gold Medal at the 2019 Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru, and is the first player to play on the USA GOLF team in the Pan Am Games and the Olympic Games.
- Represented the U.S. in numerous amateur team competitions, including the 2022 World Amateur Team Championship played at Le Golf National, along with Junior Solheim Cup (2017, 2019), Junior Ryder Cup (2018), Curtis Cup (2021, 2022), Arnold Palmer Cup (2022) and Espirito Santo Trophy (2022)
In Paris, both the men’s and women’s teams will be outfitted in a custom J.Lindeberg “Red, White, Blue for Gold” collection. J. Lindeberg is the Official Apparel Provider for USA GOLF for the upcoming two Olympic Games.
