“WE HAVE the confidence this year to close out and finish games probably better than we have in the past,” was Galtee Gaels Robbie Childs reaction to his side beating Kildimo Pallaskenry on a healthy scoreline of 4-11 to 0-11 in their Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship clash in Pallasgreen on Friday evening.
Robbie, one of Galtee Gaels goalscorers in the game, joked about playing with his brother, who ultimately gave him the pass that set up his first-half goal.
“Tommie knows me like the back of his hand and he knows the runs I am going to make before I even decide myself, so it’s a nice partnership, but there was more than that showing, Sean Casey and Zach McCarthy were showing well in the forwards and the lads did well to deliver ball into them.”
