Couple want an inquiry into how their seven-month-old son was treated in Tallaght and Temple Street children’s hospitals
A devastated young couple are seeking an independent inquiry into the treatment of their baby son, who died from sepsis after treatment over three days in Tallaght and Temple Street children’s hospitals, during which time he returned home for a period.
Mihai Marandici was the beautiful, bright and deeply loved firstborn child of his parents Nicolae and Olesea Marandici. He died from septic shock on Tuesday, September 24, aged seven months after being treated at Tallaght Children’s Hospital, before being transferred by ambulance to Temple Street.
