Jenna Ortega with crew members Anna and Harley at Ruby Sessions in Doyle’s pub this week

Wednesday and Beetlejuice superstar Jenna Ortega was spotted at the Ruby Sessions in Doyle’s Pub in Dublin this week.

The American actress was photographed with some of the crew at the College Street pub after enjoying the weekly acoustic music night on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old was also seen at the Chappell Roan concert in Dublin’s 3Olympia on Dame Street in September.

Ms Ortega has been here filming the second season of the Netflix hit Wednesday, with production having kicked off in early May after relocating from Romania.

Renowned director Tim Burton, known for Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice, will return as the series director, with Ms Ortega also taking on the role of producer.

She also recently played Astrid Deetz in the long-awaited Beetlejuice sequel, which premiered on September 6.

The star-studded cast for the Beetlejuice sequel, also directed by Tim Burton, includes Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder and Monica Bellucci.

Meanwhile, other Wednesday stars have also been spotted around Dublin recently, including Steve Buscemi, who is joining the cast this season.

He is set to make his debut as Barry Dort, the new principal of Nevermore Academy.

On August 31, the 66-year-old actor, best known for his roles in films like Armageddon and The Big Lebowski, was seen dining at Bubba’s Fish Market in south Dublin.

He later intervened after a fight that broke out outside a pub in Dalkey.

Wednesday is currently the most popular English TV series on Netflix, amassing more than 250 million views for its first season. The series has spent 20 weeks in the global top 10.
