A woman in her 80s has died after her car collided with a number of parked vehicles in Dublin on Wednesday.
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to the incident, which happened at Hillside Drive in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a woman in her 80s, was fatally injured after her car collided with a number of parked vehicles at about 10.30am.
The local coroner has been notified, and arrangements will be made for an autopsy examination.
A man in one of the vehicles which was hit was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The road where the accident occurred remains closed at this time pending a technical examination of the scene by Garda forensic collision investigators.
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses.
Any road users with camera footage and who were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
