A woman in her 30s has been killed after a vehicle hit four pedestrians in a hit-and-run incident in Blanchardstown in Dublin.
A man in his 30s was seriously injured in the incident and has been taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
No other injuries have been reported.
Gardaí responded to the scene on Blanchardstown Road, near the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, at around 5.45pm.
They said the driver of the vehicle failed to remain on scene and has yet to come forward.
The road has been closed for a technical examination by forensic collision investigators. Local diversions are currently in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users or pedestrians who were in the vicinity of Blanchardstown Road North, between 5pm and 6pm today, and have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
