Locals in the tight knit Tipperary village about 5 miles from Cashel are said to be shocked with the news
Tributes have been paid to an Irishman who was killed in a car accident in Australia on Sunday.
Father-of-two Kevin Ivers who was in his thirties and originally from Pearse Park Golden in County Tipperary died in a car crash in Perth.
Mr Ivers ran the Golden Plant Hire in Gingin, Perth, Western Australia.
He passed away on June 9, 2024, following an accident in Australia. It is believed that Mr Ivers car accident happened during torrential rain in Perth.
Locals in the tight knit Tipperary village about 5 miles from Cashel are said to be shocked with the news.
Kevin had attended Primary school in the village of Golden and secondary school at Cashel Community School One said that Kevin was a gentleman and many had ‘’great memories of him growing up in Pearse Park in Golden’’.
The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs have been informed of the news and are offering Consular assistance to Kevin’s fiancée Rhyllie and his sons aged 3 and 5.
Mr Ivers is survived by his fiancée Rhyllie Vine, sons Sonny and Banjo, parents Richie and Ann, brothers Paddy and David, sisters Donna and Aoife, grandmother Bridget, brother-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Emma and Sheila, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, relatives and his many friends in Australia and Golden.
No funeral arrangements have been made as yet and are likely be announced in the coming days.
